I KINDLY PREFER REGULAR OLD QSL CARDS TO THE ADDRESS BELOW -- AND I RECIPROCATE!

I FINALLY got my Panamanian license, HP3LGB, on 3/11/2026! My log is posted immediately to my QRZ logbook.

I was first licensed in 1978 as WB7TRW while stationed in the Air Force at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada. Back in those days, you had to drive to the FCC office in Long Beach, CA to take a written and code test. Got my Novice, then General, then... working in electronics/communications for 45+ years, I think it's time I get my Extra!

My most notable contact was with WB6MID/8R3, the station that was with the Jim Jones organization in Jonestown, Guyana. About 2 weeks before the "Kool-aid Incident", I had a very nice QSO with them. Not putting two & two together, I was as shocked as the rest of the world, but thought nothing of the QSO. About 3 days after the incident, I received their QSL card...

Fast-forward to 1984. Personal changes cost me everything including the sale of my ham gear. I've been on 2 meters and 70 centimeters throughout the years but have never been in the position for HF. After moving back to "4 land", I received the call of N4ZLJ. In 2014, I applied for, and received, my vanity call sign of N4LGB (my initials).

Now, let's fast-forward to 2021. Life is good! I recently got on HF again after 37 years! And man! How times have changed! I used to love CW and have to brush up on it. Have made some voice contacts and have even ventured into the world of FT8! You can view my log on QRZ.

I'm old fashioned, I still like to receive regular old QSL cards and will reciprocate. The address of my mail forwarding company is on my main page. If you send me a regular old QSL card, I'll add it to the bottom of this page.

You must put the address EXACTLY as it is:
